MTEC Tech/ESE Teacher

Bob Dalles

Bob is the Computer Systems Technology Teacher at MTEC. He has been in this position for almost 5 years now. Bob comes to us with over 30 years experience in the computer field. When asked why he decided to get into education, he responded, " I have been lucky and successful in business. I wanted to have a stronger impact on society and I thought teaching would be a good way to do that."

Bob has a great rapport with his ESE students. At the beginning of the year, he assesses his students' strengths and weaknesses. He works with each student individually to develop areas of weakness. He then teaches to their strengths to build confidence, which leads to success. All students are treated like professionals and are expected to perform as such. Achievement and preparation for employment are two main goals of Bob's program.

Bob was born near Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and has lived in Florida since 1989. He resides locally with his wife, who is also a Pasco County teacher, and his two daughters.
