Program Description

This program is designed to prepare students for employment as a Nursing Assistant. this program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills in the Nurse Assistant field. this program is 165 hours, which includes 40 hours of clinicals. An accumulation of more than 12 hours of absences may result in an inability to complete the course.

Program Requirements

TABE Test
Minimum Standards: Math: 10, Language: 10, Reading: 10 to be a program completer


Basic physical exam, including negative TB skin test or negative chest x-ray to begin

High School diploma or equivalent recommended

State fingerprinting

Tuition: $2.78 per program hour (165)-Current Fee Sheet
*Plus additional costs for physical, TB test, fingerprinting, state certification exam upon course completion, and other expenses.
