The Underage GED® program offers a variety of classes that will allow us to partner with you in your educational and career goals. Upon successful completion of our GED® program you will be awarded the State of Florida High School Diploma. This diploma will enable you to transfer to many technical/vocational schools and a number of two-year and four-year college institutions. You must be withdrawn from high school prior to entry into this program. You will be prepared in the following areas for the GED® test:

To get started follow these steps: |

1. Schedule to take the TABE test by calling (727) 774-1700. This test will establish your current functioning level. To enter the Hudson & Mitchell programs you will need to achieve a 9.0 or above in each area on an A or D level test. If you do not achieve a level 9 we will have a GED® preparatory class at MTEC Monday--Thursday 9:00-11:00, 12:00-2:00, or 2:00-4:00. The steps to registration are the same. If you are in the GED® preparatory class, you will have priority placement in the Hudson or Mitchell programs upon qualification. Hudson hours are 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Mitchell hours are 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m.

***To complete the Residency portions of registration ahead of time, contact Melissa Toohey at 727-774-1888 ATTENDANCE is mandatory at registration and for the full session. Students will be automatically withdrawn for absenteeism with no tuition refund. Tuition is paid and residency may be verified at registration. (Students that have attended a Pasco County School within the last 12 months may use this as one form of documentation when their parents are claiming residency) |

| ***NON-REFUNDABLE TUITION is $30 for Florida residents/$120 for non-residents. You may pay by personal check (with printed address and phone number), money order or credit card. Please note there is a $5 convenience fee to pay by credit card.
