Taking GED® classes is recommended prior to application for the GED test. Teachers of the GED® preparation classes give the Pre-GED® test, prescribe any necessary remediation, help students improve their test taking skills, and work toward their goal of passing the GED® test. Classes are held at Marchman Technical Education Center, New Port Richey Library, Hudson Library, and Metropolian Ministries. There is also an "online" study program for the GED® test...see Mr. Roy, Adult Guidance Counselor for information at (727) 774-1719. A seat at the GED® exam is NOT guaranteed unless you have registered at the GED® pffice at MTEC and you have paid the testing fee. Reservations for the GED® will be taken prior to the first testing day providing there are spaces available Reservations for the GED® exam are on a first come, first served basis. You must register in person. |

| Day 2 | 3:45 p.m. to approx. 8:00 p.m. Language Arts/Writing - 120 minutes Math - 90 minutes |
| Day 3 | 3:45 p.m. to approx. 8:00 p.m. Science - 80 minutes Social Studies - 70 minutes Language Arts/Reading - 65 minutes |
